Mata + Nadia: Hawaii Bridals

The morning after Mata and Nadia's wedding, we woke up before sunrise and made our way to a boat that took us out to a beautiful sandbar just in time for sunrise shots. The clouds were a bit heavy that day, which was nice because it gave us more time to shoot. And oddly enough, the sea was SOO calm. It looked like glass was surrounding them. Coolest spot ever, and best luck ever!

We shot at the sand bar for about an hour, then parted ways. We met up again that evening near sunset time for another bridal session. But this time, instead of taking a boat to the location, we decided to hike! So there we were, sweating like crazy, lugging gear and wedding apparel up a mountain. (For those wondering, we did the crouching lion hike close to Laie! Sooo fun!) Also, note to anyone going to do this, Don't eat at a shrimp truck...or eat anything right before...Because you might barf. Learned that one the hard way! But OH SO WORTH IT! Look at Nadia doing the Hula overlooking Hawaii...I mean honestly. Doesn't get much better than this!
